Online dating has exploded in popularity over the past several years. And that is a good thing. Online dating opens the door for meeting that very special person that you can spend the rest of your life with. Or, at the very least, you can meet someone to go out on dates with and enjoy some fun on the town.
I know all this sounds hard to do for some people. There are those who pay others to ‘network’ for them. ‘Networking’ gets your name and the things that you do out on the Internet and makes it available on a search.
Ask your vendors and sales reps to donate prizes, food, help, or anything else you need. They are usually delighted to help in some way. Don’t forget to invite them to attend the event if you are planning to highlight their product. They are often expert salespeople!
Resumes suck. Recruiters are in agreement with job seekers. They are difficult to read and hard to get a good grasp of the entire candidate. Geoff is in favor of a social media resume and recommends using your LinkedIn profile and About page on your blog to highlight you skills and what interests you. He believes that blogs and social media profiles are better indicators of who candidates really are. This concept is somewhat radical, hence his name so don’t go chucking your resume just yet.
“People just don’t meet organically any more. If I want to make myself more attractive to the opposite sex, I don’t go get a new haircut – I update my read about my life,” Drew Barrymore miserably rants in the movie out of sheer frustration.

Write an article about the promotion for the monthly newsletter that’s already going to your mailing list. They are already your customers and the newsletter is already going out…don’t forget to plug your promotion.
So there is little need to care about the more horrific incidents we see on T.V every day. But more mundane risks, such as robbery or attack can be minimized by the exact preparation. Use the internet to research where you are going, and use the U.S and U.K Government web sites for up-to-date suggestion.
