Posted ByDave SynderThere are literally thousands of blogs, full-fledged websites, books, articles and courses about making money online with a website. Millions of words have been written explaining how to turn a profit with a blog or site.
Imagine you search Twitter and no one has ever mentioned you. Do you need to use this particular social media tool for your business? It depends. Go back to your earlier findings. Watch the trending topics over the span of a couple weeks. Are people talking about key components of your sector? If your Business profiles is considered “green” then definitely. Health is another good sector. If you are in the entertainment sector, that’s a no-brainer – you need to be there.
I’m very specific on where I live. I’d love to connect with those in my town or even in my state. I’ve also gotten emails from complete strangers who were going to visit my town and wanted some recommendations on where to stay and where to visit. This is a connection, an opportunity for communication.
I’ve used Comment Kahuna and Market Samurai to find dofollow comment Creative network. Comment Kahuna didn’t work at all (it’s free, so I have no beef with it). Market Samurai is an outstanding keyword and competition software application, but it’s not that great in providing dofollow blog commenting opportunities. I have Market Samurai and don’t bother using their dofollow blog search.
Use aggregators, dashboards, and directory sites. Prep multiple descriptions of varying length for each project and have them at hand to online blogs cut and paste.
On the other hand, I say this with a sheepish smile, since Blogs are free, I set up another blog in Google for my family and friends where I simply post pictures of the family and news about them. This I have no need to be picked up by web search engines, and just pass out the URL to my kids and close friends. Which is another way to use blogs.
You also need to keep your posts clear if you want to be making money with blogs. The spiders that crawl over your content will be looking for sales pitches or nonsensical content. Your blog needs to be commercial free, but you need to write with the intent of your visitors ultimately clicking on the ads. Making money with blogs means knowing how to motivate when you write. If you do not know how to do that, then you may want to take some writing courses or hire someone to write your posts.
