The internet has opened new doors for everything from banking to shopping to video emails and even online education. I am always trying to encourage people to further their education but I always seem to get the response “I just don’t have time.” To that I let them know that many classes and even entire degrees are now available online. I received an Associates degree online and am taking some of the classes toward my Bachelors degree online. If you are considering taking online education courses or even completing and entire online degree, read on to discover the many benefits of this choice.
If this is music to your ears, you should consider getting an google app for education. All you really need is a computer, an internet connection, and the desire to learn. No traffic nightmares, no weather worries. No scheduling conflicts or babysitter problems, and you can even go to school in your pajamas. Wow! That’s my idea of school. You take the classes you need at the times you want, at your own speed, and still achieve your chosen goals.
Then one day I had an administrator come to observe my classroom, for us teachers we know this is a regular way of life. I was not concerned about it, I figured I would get some leeway seeing as I was a floater and I had enough trouble keeping my worksheets from flying off my cart while moving from class to class. This apparently was not the case. The administrator who observed me that day found things wrong with my teaching style that I didn’t even know were problems. The result? Once a week for the last 6 weeks of school I spent sitting in her office listening to what a terrible teacher I was. My response, I quit again and moved to yet another school.
Mimulus – for any fear or anxiety that they can name about school. E.g. fear of: going back to school, changing class, certain teachers, kids who are bullies, eating in the large hall where it’s noisy, not knowing what to do, not knowing where to go, not knowing where the toilets are, speaking out in class, getting things wrong, being laughed at, kids not wanting to be friends with them, getting into trouble and so on. If your child can put a name to a fear then they need to take Mimulus. It is also the remedy for shyness, blushing and stammering.
Would I have required this information to have been able to answer any of the questions in the old examination papers provided by my online teacher at the beginning of the year (when I was considering doing this course)? If more than one question indicates this, award more than one point.
With travel budgets being cut to the bone and you having less and less available time to get things done, trade shows can be a godsend. Specifically, they are a great time to meet up with all of those people that you should have been talking with, but haven’t been.
