I would like to give you a challenge! The challenge is that within 60 days, you are able to generate between 300 and 400 brand new visitors to your website or squeeze page every day without fail and that you are able to convert these visitors to subscribers at the rate of 40 percent. What would that do for your business? What would that do for the amount of income you generated? No doubt, it would make a tremendous difference, and if you are up for the challenge, this is what I suggest you do.
Create a file. Have a loose-leaf file that you can put coaching stuff into. This maybe work that you have done on your pc and printed off as you prefer to work that way, information you have downloaded, All new content from magazines. It’s also a great way to keep the output of your sessions together in one place so that you can find them easily when it’s time for your coaching session. I send one of these out to full coaching programme clients to get you started.
Second: “Tips”. Again, I love lists, and I love lists of tips – “Top Ten Tips for…”, “Eight Tips That Teach…..” and so on. The great thing is, these articles write themselves. Just jot down snippets of information related to a particular topic over the week, and by Saturday you’ll find that your ‘Tips’ article is ready to roll. Some people say that you need to have more than five tips in an article, but I disagree. If they tips are meaty, then “Three Red Hot Tips To Drop Those Pounds” will be a must-read.
Yet along comes an ugly guy and the one thing that he can be very confident of is that his friends love him for who he is and not what he looks like. No one hangs around an ugly guy with no money and no drugs because of fringe benefits. So if you meet an ugly guy that has heaps of friends you have met one guy that has met this hypocritical and shallow educated world we live in head on and triumphed.
Read around the subject. If you’re worried about the level of investment, find out what your core things are you want to cover and consider how you can do more work on the other parts without a formal coaching programme. Your coach may be able to support you with ideas for this.
My research included joining writer’s forums. There are many online that will help you find the information that you need. The key indicator for a good agent or publisher is that money flows to the writer in traditional publishing, not from the writer. Be prepared to research, research and research any agent or publisher you consider. Not that there is anything wrong with self-publishing, if that is what you want to do. But if you do that, retain your rights – there are smart ways to do it. Do your homework. If you just want to see your name in print – decide that is what you want and don’t expect a miracle from a self- or vanity-publisher.
Keep a list of achievements and happy things. It’s good to create a list of all the things that you have achieved so far in your life, and then keep adding to it. I also like to keep a specific list each day of things that I have been glad about, have made me happy. I share this with a friend which also helps deepen our friendship.
Finally, nothing is going to improve your article writing skill more than practice. The more you practice, the more you will develop your skill. If you can, you should practice on a daily basis. Create articles in your particular niche, and over a short period of time, you will become an expert at article writing. When you practice you will be able to create articles in under 15 minutes per article.
