If you are toying with the idea of getting your first tattoo done, have questions about the whole process and are feeling anxiety about getting it done; relax because most everyone feels the same about their first tattoo. Most peoples minds play games with them and they develop a fear of the unknown. This feeling has an adverse effect on most and makes us shy away from doing some of the things that we really want to do, like getting my first tattoo, but are afraid to take a chance. Rolla coasters are a good example for most people.
Designing a tattoo for men is a completely different process than designing a tattoo for women. Women prefer to go for more feminine tattoos that can be covered and hidden. A lower back tattoo, just above the rounded swell of the buttocks for instance is a common tattoo for women. Usually, the tattoo design idea is a spread out tattoo, mostly a tribal and sometimes a flower or butterfly that is inked in the center of the lower back.
This same customer, then usually asks me what I’ll charge to “fix it up”. When I quote anywhere from $100 – $500 to attempt to fix or just go for the complete cover up, I get a reply, usually in a whiny voice, “But I only paid $10 for it!” Yes, I know, that’s why you are in my studio asking me to fix it. Why didn’t you just get that inked on yourself But I only paid for it Then you wouldn’t have to spend the rest of your life repeating that phrase to everyone who sees your tattoo equipment ink that really does look like you only paid for it.
The style of the tattoo, with the bold line work and simple designs, stands out well on the body. Intricate designs can be lost on a viewer where any distance is involved and thus the tribal tattoo can be admired from afar with ease.
Don’t play in the sun: The sun is your tattoo’s number one enemy. Stay away from the sun or tanning bed until your tat is fully healed and always wear an SPF of 45 or higher when exposed to the sun.
Lets start with the tools. Rejuvi is often administered by tattoo artist with tattooing machines. Conventional tattoo equipment kits machines should be avoided as these can be too rough on the skin. Cheap micro pigmentation machines should also be avoided. Just about the only suitable machine on the market for this procedure is the Precision Plus Micro Pigmentation machine. The problem is that this piece of equipment costs as much as a car and the components (needles) are also expensive so most technicians will not even consider it. However, if you don’t want to be left with a scar, you want to make sure that the best tools are used on your skin. It’s worth paying a bit more for your treatment knowing that the equipment being used on you is the best on the market.
If you’re having your first ever tattoo, get something small. Don’t decide on one across the entire lower back or along the upper part of the arm as a first tattoo. There is some pain associated with the tattoo – after all they are sticking needles just under the skin and releasing the ink, so for those squirmy about getting a flu shot, this is like getting several hundred (or thousand) needle pricks. Make sure the pain is tolerable before embarking on a big and elaborate design.
All said and done, there is a huge scope for growth in tattoo business especially catering to women’s category. More new creative designs to attract more female customers are the need of the hour. Surely an important fashion item for future.
