Different stores have a different variety of pipes for sale. You would be surprised the difference between pieces at different stores. Glass blowers keep a certain style when making their pipes. Every blower is known for a certain design and color that can be quickly distinguished.
One advantage of glass on glass pipes is that they are easier to clean than metal or wooden pipes. The biggest disadvantage of using glass pipes is that they are easily breakable and very difficult to transport.
