The tax incentive program that the Film Commission is working on is fine, but only a start and a drop in the bucket in terms of scale. What if the private sector created an incentive package to attract projects? What if they created a matching fund in concert with the public incentive program to double the money? In New Mexico, the state makes loans to films and receives repayment with interest as the films prosper. They make huge money. The private sector here could do the same thing. We could match funds with the state, loan out to production and reap the benefit both financially and as a progressive community. Discuss.

It doesn’t matter where you are. As long as you have access to a telephone, you can join in a conference call. Of course, to join a video conference, you have to do so from a computer or a laptop. Top executives may have to travel overseas for work reasons. They can always join a local meeting with video conferencing.
According to CNN and other media outlets, Barack Obama won the Guam caucuses. He did it by a mere 7 votes. Obama got 50.1 percent of the votes from all of Guam’s 21 precincts. Senator Hillary Clinton got 49.9 percent of the votes. It was really close. This came as no surprise considering how hard both candidates fought for favor from the residents of this island.
